Gene Jensen is a Lubrication Specialist at North America Lubricants, Chevron Products Company. He is the trainer for the Northwest and Southwest business areas, along with Western Canada. He has over 35 years of experience in the Lubricants industry — two years in Unocal and 28 years in Lubricant Marketers, having worked with Shell, Citgo, ConocoPhillips, Mobil, Chevron, Castrol, Valvoline and house brand suppliers, and over five years with Chevron Lubricants.
Gene grew up in Southern Utah and is an SUU and Utah State Alum.
He has five kids and nine grandkids!
Techron – Fuel Additives for Diesel Engines
Jim Smiley is the Techron Business Manager for Chevron Lubricants, North America. Prior to Chevron, Jim worked in brand and product management at Intuit, Yahoo!, DuPont and several start-ups. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Santa Clara University and an MBA from Georgetown University
Jason Gerig is currently the Americas Services Sector Manager for Chevron Lubricants where he is implementing an industry leading business model for certified clean lubricants and data management. He has 25 years of experience in the lubricants and fuel industry holding various positions in operations management, marketing, and sales. Including experience in equipment management for a heavy duty highway construction company. His primary passion and focus has been on machine reliability utilizing fluid analysis data and certified clean lubricants. He holds a B.S. degree in Business Marketing from the University of Wyoming and has been recognized by the Society of Tribologists and Lubricant Engineers as a Certified Lubricant Specialist and Oil Monitoring Analyst.
Rebecca Zwetzig is the America’s ISOCLEAN® Certified Lubricants Program Manager for Chevron Lubricants. She partners with sales, sales enablement, marketing and ISOCLEAN® lubricant distributors to identify the optimal lubricant for the industry and application. Selecting the optimal lubricant and applying an effective maintenance strategy is paramount for component longevity and operational productivity.
Rebecca has worked on projects for large companies including Chevron MCBU and Refining groups. She has written some blogs and technical papers. In addition to her experience, she has completed her Executive MBA from Bowling Green State University and is OMA-1 Certified. Today, she works with our Lubricant Sales Teams coaching on key opportunities across all channels and segments in North America to help lubricant customers reduce their total cost of operation.
Hobbies include outdoor activities such as mountain biking and hiking or simply playing chase after her three-year-old daughter.

Keith D. Shaw is the Global OEM Manager, On/Off Highway at Chevron Lubricants in San Ramon, CA. In this role, he is responsible for developing and managing senior level strategic relationships to bring Chevron’s leading-edge technologies to Lubricants’ largest and most important Heavy-Duty Truck & Non-Road OEMs.
Mr. Shaw has over 33 years of experience in heavy duty and industrial lubricants and lubrication programs with both Chevron and Castrol for which he has held various positions. These include product development, technical services manager, fluid management program manager, and lubricants general manager in South Africa, and project manager in China. He was responsible for leading the development of Chevron Lubricants’ Reliability-based Lubrication (RbL™) Program which has since been globally deployed to customers in the transportation, manufacturing, construction, mining, oil and gas, and marine segments.

The Chevron Delo® Traveling Technology Lab

The Chevron Delo® Traveling Technology Lab is now virtual! Due to the global pandemic, we are unable to bring the lab to you. We developed a virtual experience that allows you to learn more about maintenance best practices, and Delo products and related services. The tour manager guides attendees through seven high-tech, interactive stations that deliver Chevron’s messages of reliability, durability, and efficiency. The Delo Virtual Technology Lab is an effective tool for educating attendees on modern engines and how lubricants can foster engine longevity and performance.

Brian Hess is a Global Key Account Manager for Evonik Oil Additives. Brian joined Evonik in 2004 and has held a number of technical and commercial roles supporting Evonik’s viscosity index improvers and pour point depressants across a range of lubricant applications, including a strong focus on improving the efficiency and productivity of hydraulic fluids. He is an active member of STLE, SAE, ILMA, and ASTM. Brian received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Lafayette College. He is located in the Philadelphia area and enjoys coaching and cheering on his three daughters in their various sports and activities.

Randy Clark is a Level III Machinery Lubricant Analyst-International Council for Machinery Lubrication and OMA Certified by STLE. He has over 30 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance, maintenance management, planning, scheduling, and QA/QC.
Randy is the international team leader for business improvement and development and has 36 years of experience in oil analysis. He joined POLARIS Laboratories® in April 2012.

David Doyle has been in the petroleum business for over 40 years and has a wide range of knowledge in lubricant, and fuel products and relevant test methods. His experience includes operation of terminalling activities, lubricant blending, and laboratory management positions for major and independent oil companies, as well as independent laboratory businesses.
Through Mr. Doyle’s location in the USA he currently supports the global laboratory network for ALS Tribology and manages branded programs for major lubricant companies and original equipment manufacturers. His activities include technical support, development of value added tools and services, and an extensive range of published articles.
Mr. Doyle has CLS, OMA I, and OMA II accreditation through STLE and ASTM affiliation.
Roger Mendel has over 25 years of experience and has a broad range of knowledge in asset condition monitoring in petrochemical, mining, oil and gas, power generation and other industrial sectors. His career has included technical roles in industrial and analytical chemistry, material forensics, inspection and technical consulting through to senior leadership roles in operations and business development.
Roger has worked with ALS for over 15 years managing engineering services and General Manager for ALS Industrial in Australia. For the past three years Roger has been based in Portland, OR fulfilling the role of Director Business Development for ALS Industrial.
Formal qualifications include Bachelor of Science (Chem, Chem Phys, Phys Maths), Graduate Diploma in Education, OMA 1 through STLE plus involvement in a number of other industry groups and affiliations.
Quenton Beals started his career at ALS in 2009 as a bilingual Customer Service Representative for the Phoenix Laboratory. As he continued to progress, he took on the role of diagnostician for the next two years. In 2015 Quenton received his OMA I certification from STLE around the same time he was promoted to Lab Manager for the Phoenix Laboratory. In the role of manager Quenton expanded and diversified the Phoenix customer base. As a lab manager he took a more hands on role with the instrumentation and testing, allowing him to fully utilize his OMA certification and answer any customer questions that were directed his way. His passion for providing the customer with not only what they asked for but what they needed led him to his current position of Business Development Manager for the Western USA and Mexico.
Donaldson Filtration Service

Nate Zambon, Director Donaldson FilterMinder, currently leads the Donaldson FilterMinder organization since July of 2017 and has responsibility for Donaldson’s filtration and fluid monitoring business for Engine markets. Prior to his current role, Nate served in a variety of technical and leadership roles within Donaldson’s Exhaust Emissions and Engine Air Filtration business units since joining Donaldson in 2006. Nate holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and an MBA from University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
